Tour Managers Fiji is affiliated to several prominent organizations which allow the company to be associated with leading edge discussions on the national and global tourism industry agendas which complement and align some of its activities to international standard themes and activities. Tour Managers is proud of partnering and being members of organizations such as Tourism Fiji (TF), the Ministry of Industry, Trade & Tourism (MITT), South Pacific Tourism Organization (SPTO), Society of Fiji Travel Associates (SOFTA), Fiji Tourism Excellence Awards standards to name a few.

The Managing Director Mr. Damend Gounder continues to be actively involved in national tourism agendas in close partnership with Associations such as Fiji Hotel Tourism Association (FHTA) and MITT. His most recent involvement was to provide strong support to Tourism Fiji through the Tourism Action Group (TAG) activities which were activated by the Fijian government to quickly aid the quick promotion and marketing of destination Fiji after the devastating effects of cyclone Winston in 2016. Perseverance in connecting with organizations to further enhance visitor experience is crucial to Tour Managers continued efforts to maintain excellence in services to our guests.

Is considered one of the leaders of Tourism related issues in Fiji and relied upon by core institutions related to the Fijian Tourism industry for advice and consul.

Worked with key projects such as the Tourism Action Group (TAG) and Fiji Tourism Forum (FTF). Holds post graduate diplomas in Development Studies and Tourism & Hospitality as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Tourism and Marine Affairs from the University of the South Pacific.
